Each month we’ll post either an article about a particular business or personal issue that’s relevant at the time, or we’ll share a personal or business lesson that either we, or one of other clients, have learned which might save you some time and energy if you happen to be facing the same issue. Our aim is to ensure the items are consistent with not only our name but also the philosophy of Infinite Possibilities - i.e. they give you something to think about or ideas you can use whether you are in business or not; they're simple to read and understand, and free of jargon; they contribute to making the world a better place; and most importantly, they help you to get what you want ... in business and life.
While we have done our best to ensure the information in these webpages is true and accurate, we do not accept any liability for any losses suffered by anyone relying upon the information contained here. We recommend you should consult your accountant before acting on any information outlined on these webpages.
Is your Trust a Good Trust or a Bad Trust? Get it wrong and you may as well kiss your assets and money goodbye.
Whether you have a trust or are thinking of using one, you need to read this. You may be wasting thousands of dollars either getting a trust, or in managing it. Worse still, your trust may not hold up under scrutiny and any assets you placed in your trust could be ‘fair game’ to any partner or creditor.
This article won’t explain what a Trust is, but it will help you understand how you can increase the likelihood your trust will survive any claim by an aggrieved beneficiary, relative or partner, creditor, or official assignee under bankruptcy. Read more ...
Lessons learned - building your webpage
Our web pages stand out from our competitors. That was no accident and nor was it good luck. We did a lot of research into building our site, and consequently we learned a lot in that process. A client of ours recently asked us for some advice relating to web pages and we quickly realised there wasn't enough time to tell him everything we had learned. We also realised that we could help others get the web page they wanted and save them a lot of time and money in learning how to build a website that worked for them. After all, there is no need to reinvent the wheel is there? So this month we are posting an article on the business lessons we learned building a web page, which looks at the main areas you'll need to consider if you want a web site that works for you. You do know there is a silver lining in the recession, dont you?
In our first posting of What's Possible we're focussing on the topic that's impacting everyone ... wage earners, unemployed and business owners alike - the 'Recession'. But rather than add to the media hype about the economic downturn which is rather depressing, we've taken an alternative perspective. We've summarised everything we've seen and read, added our thoughts and created an article that highlights the opportunities that exist for everyone - not just those in business. We've answered the question of how long the recession will last, and you'll find four things you can do if you want to avoid becoming a recession statistic (or at least minimise the damage to your investments).
